SAN BRUNO, Calif. – Santa Clara's Hayden Shieh was named West Coast Conference Men's Golfer of the Month for April.
Shieh had tremendous performances in his three tournaments during the month, including reaching a playoff at the WCC Championships (April 20-22). The junior finished among the top three in each outing and was under par in seven of his nine rounds.
He will make his third-straight appearance in the NCAA Championships, playing at next week's Stanford regional.
Shieh carded a final-round 67 to claim second at the Seattle Redhawk Invitational (April 3-4).
