SEATTLE - Santa Clara men's tennis player Mann Shah won the consolation singles bracket at the ITA Northwest Super Regional Championship defeating Stanford's Aryan Chaudhary on Sunday.
Shah downed Chaudhary in straight sets, 6-0, 7-5, to capture his second title of the fall. The junior from Gujarat, India won the top-flight singles title at the UC Davis Aggie Invitational earlier this month.
In order to reach the finals, Shah had to get past teammate Arthur Neuhaus in the semifinals. The two Broncos battled in a close match with Shah edging out a three set victory 3-6, 6-2, 1-0 (10-6).
