SAN BRUNO, Calif. – Santa Clara men's tennis was recognized by the West Coast Conference on Tuesday when senior Robert Seby was named the WCC Men's Singles Player of the Week.
The Broncos won both matches in Seattle over the weekend, beating Liberty, 6-1, on Saturday and Washington, 4-3, on Sunday with Seby getting the clinchers in both.
On Saturday, Seby beat Liberty's Steve Mundt, 6-2, 6-1, to clinch the match in a neutral site match.
Against the Huskies on Sunday, with the match tied at 3-3, Seby took down Sebastian Hawken in three sets, 3-6, 6-3, 6-4, to clinch the 4-3 thriller.
