SANTA CLARA, Calif. – In the final game of the regular season, Santa Clara women's soccer travels to San Francisco to take on the Dons Saturday at 1 p.m. The Broncos are in a battle for positioning in the tightly-grouped West Coast Conference standings.
Santa Clara is 30-1-1 all-time against San Francisco. Last season the Dons picked up their lone win over the Broncos 1-0 at Stevens Stadium. The last game on the Hilltop was in 2014 and Santa Clara came away with a 1-0 win in double overtime.
Last week the Broncos beat Gonzaga 2-0 and Portland 1-0 to put themselves on pace to head back to the NAA Tournament.
