MORGAN HILL, Calif. – Santa Clara men's golfer Julien Paltrinieri saved his best round for last to make a big jump up the final standings on the final day of the NCAA Morgan Hill Regional. The graduate student turned in the lowest score of the day of 5-under 67 and climbed a whopping 32 spots to finish the event in a tie for 24th at 5-over 71-83-67—221.
Paltrinieri's final round tied for the lowest 18-hole score of the entire tournament and included a total of seven birdies, including four out of five on Nos.
