SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara men's water polo remained perfect during its Julian Fraser Memorial Tournament with a pair of wins on Saturday.
The Broncos (8-9) downed Wagner, 13-10, and then knocked off Saint Francis Brooklyn, 9-7, in the 11-team, three-day event.
Santa Clara, which has won four of its last five, opened tournament play on Friday with a 15-13 victory over Harvard.
"The guys are playing really well," head coach Keith Wilbur said. "It's a big tournament with good competition. Friday night was a good game against Harvard-- a big win.
