SAN FRANCISCO - In a pivotal match for the West Coast Conference standings, Santa Clara men's tennis and San Francisco played only the singles portion due to weather concerns as the Broncos claimed four of the five matches to defeat the Dons 4-1 to move into sole position of fifth place in the WCC.
Guillaume Dalmasso needed three sets to beat Phuc Huynh 6-4, 3-6, 7-5 that clinched the match for the Broncos (9-10, 4-3 WCC) who entered the day tied with USF (11-10, 3-4 WCC) in fifth place. The top six teams qualify for the WCC Championships (April 28-30).
