LAS VEGAS – Santa Clara men's tennis lost both of the final two matches in three sets, falling to UNLV 5-2 in a tightly contested match at the Fertitta Tennis Complex on Saturday.
Trailing 3-2, Arthur Neuhaus battled Alex Kobelt on court one with Mann Shah duking it out against Jordan Sauer on court three to push both matches to three sets.
However, both UNLV (6-0) players came up on top with Kobelt defeating Neuhaus 4-6, 6-4, 6-1 to clinch the match. Sauer outlasted Shah 6-3, 4-6, 7-6(4) to give the Rebels a 5-2 win.
