SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Santa Clara men's tennis capped a perfect week, winning its second West Coast Conference match in as many days and third victory overall, with a 4-1 triumph over Pacific on Saturday afternoon at the Degheri Tennis Center.
James Bell was involved in both the doubles and match clinching wins where he teamed up with Nick Cmager to down Ran Amar and Coby McCaig 6-3 on court three to put the Broncos (7-6, 2-0 WCC) on the scoreboard, 1-0. Bell then defeated Manroop Saini in straight sets 6-4, 6-4 on court four to give Santa Clara its second WCC win after beating Saint Mary's in the conference opener on Friday.
