REDWOOD CITY, Calif. – Santa Clara men's rowing competed with three boats at the Stanford Invitational Saturday and Sunday to cap off the front half of the season. Saturday the Broncos took home a win with the Third Varsity 8 boat and Sunday got wins with both the Varsity 8 and 2nd Varsity 8 boats."The Stanford Invite is always a great test for our team and this weekend was no exception," Santa Clara head coach Jay Farwell said. "We tried a number of different line-ups and coxswains in various boats so it was a good opportunity to see what is working and not working coming into the championship segment of our season.
