- Jay Farwell was promoted to director of rowing in September 2021 and will oversee both the men's and women's rowing programs at Santa Clara. He has spent the last 10 seasons as the head coach for the men.
- From June 29-July 3 the Santa Clara will take part in the Henley Royal Regatta in Henley-on-the-Thames.
