SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Santa Clara men's basketball rolled past Notre Dame de Namur, 101-54, behind five players with double digit scoring in the preliminary round game of the Cable Car Classic on Tuesday night.
Each of the twelve Broncos who saw the floor scored, led by a trio of players – Guglielmo Caruso, Trey Wertz and DJ Mitchell - with 14 points.
Mitchell had an efficient game hitting all four of his field goals and went 3 of 4 from the line. He also grabbed a career-high 10 rebounds to record his first career double-double.
