The Broncos will face Jackson State (1-6) at 7 p.m. in Leavey Center.
Two days after securing its first win of the season, the Broncos (1-5) were unable to make it two in a row on Monday. A sluggish first half was too much to overcome for Santa Clara which lost to California, 78-66. Matt Bradley posted 16 points and Juhwan Harris-Dyson 14 for the Bears who held off a second-half rally in the first meeting between the schools in 12 years.
