SANTA CLARA, Calif. - After wins in all three games in the season-opening Bronco Invitational, Santa Clara men's basketball now faces CSU Bakersfield in a home game moved to nearby Santa Cruz, California.
The game between the Broncos and Roadrunners is set for 6 p.m. in Kaiser Permanente Arena. Due to Santa Cruz County guidelines, spectators will not be permitted inside venue.
The Broncos (3-0) capped off the four-team, round-robin tournament on Saturday with a convincing 73-57 victory over Nicholls. Josip Vrankic posted a season-high 28 points and a career-high tying 15 rebounds, and Keshawn Justice scored 14 for Santa Clara which led from start to finish and outrebounded the Colonels, 55-38, and outscored them 44-18 in the paint.
