Men's Basketball Begins Bay Area Homestand, Faces Pacific Thursday

SANTA CLARA, Calif. - After splitting a pair of games on its Southern California road trip, Santa Clara men's basketball is facing two Bay Area teams at home this week, starting with Thursday's matchup against Pacific. Tipoff is set for 8 p.m. in Leavey Center in the first meeting of the season between the teams, which are tied for fifth in the West Coast Conference standings.

The Broncos (8-14, 5-5) lost at San Diego on Thursday before winning at Pepperdine on Saturday. Following a four-game winning streak, the Tigers (10-13, 5-5) have dropped their last three, including an 80-65 loss at BYU on Saturday.
