SAN BRUNO, Calif. – The West Coast Conference announced Thursday that four soccer matches this weekend, including a pair of Santa Clara home contests, have been postponed due to the air quality in the Bay Area stemming from wildfires that continue to burn across Northern California.
The men were scheduled to face Saint Mary's at 7 p.m. Friday and the women set to play San Diego at 1 p.m. Saturday.
"As a member of the Bay Area community, our thoughts continue to be with those affected by the fires in our area," said West Coast Conference Commissioner Lynn Holzman.
