HAFNARFJOROUR, Iceland – A four-year starter for Santa Clara women's soccer, Maddy Gonzalez signed a professional contract with Fimleikafelag Hafnarfjardar of Pepsi Max deildin in Iceland.
A 2016 West Coast Conference All-Freshman Team selection, Gonzalez was an impact player from the moment she stepped on the field for the Broncos. During her four years, she played in 91 games and made 68 starts while scoring 28 times and adding 14 assists to total 70 points. Her efforts had her named Second Team All-WCC in 2017 and honorable mention in 2018 and 2019.
