King-Adas' Hat Trick Leads Women's Water Polo to 14-1 Win

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Coming off two losses last weekend, the Santa Clara women's water polo team put on a strong show Friday afternoon against Concordia (Cal.) including three shut out quarters.

The Broncos move to 9-13 on the season and 2-3 in Golden Coast Conference play after the win.

Nine different Broncos scored in the game led by sophomore Liliana King-Adas' hat trick. Her three goals on Friday were her first of the season. Keri Clifford, Elle Surber, and Lauren Paxton each contributed two goals.

"It was nice that we got to play a lot of people in that game including our younger players who played really well," said Head Coach Keith Wilbur.
