SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO - Santa Clara men's golfer Julien Paltrinieri is one of 10 representatives on the West Coast Conference Men's Golf All-Conference Team as announced by the WCC on Monday.
A native of Milan, Italy, Paltrinieri joined the Broncos this season as a graduate student following a great four-year career at Kent State. In his one season with the red and white, Paltrinieri excelled with a team-best scoring average of 71.69 strokes per round and eight top-20 finishes, including his last outing at the WCC Championship where he placed 16th at 2-over. His best finish was at tie for sixth the John Burns Intercollegiate where he was under par for all three rounds, including an incredible 63 in the final round that stands as the lowest 18-hole score by a Bronco since Matt McCarty turned in a program-record 61 in 2018.
