SANTA CLARA, Calif. – The three-day Golden Coast Conference Championship got underway Friday morning at Sullivan Aquatic Center.
In the first preliminary round game, No. 3 seed Loyola Marymount defeated sixth-seeded Cal Baptist, 12-2.
In Friday's second game, No. 2 seed Pacific downed seventh-seeded Fresno Pacific, 15-3.
In the final game, fifth-seeded Santa Clara, the host institution, lost to No. 4 seed Azuza Pacific, 7-6.
