NORTH LAS VEGAS, Nev. — Racing for the first time in two seasons, Santa Clara cross country's Jack Davidson turned in one of the team's best performances in more than a decade at Wednesday's WCC Championships. He finished in eighth place to land a spot on the All-WCC Team, becoming the first men's runner to earn the honor at the conference meet since Robbie Reid finished as runner-up in 2009.
Davidson clocked an 8k 23:37.7 to help the men's team take fourth place for the second straight season. In her Santa Clara debut, freshman Kinsey Hall led the women's side with a 6k 22:57.
