FRESNO, Calif. – Sophomore Sarah Busey matched the Broncos program record with a 67 in Tuesday's final round of the Fresno State classic to claim a career-best finish lifting Santa Clara women's golf into third place with a team total of 6-over 870.
One day after compiling the second-lowest 18-hole score in program history, the Broncos fell one swing short of matching Monday's 283. Their final-round 284 gave them a 54-hole total of 870, which is also the program's second-lowest. Both records were set in the fall with a 280 and 863 at the UC Irvine invitational.
