BARCELONA, Spain - Santa Clara men's basketball improved to 2-0 on their foreign tour on Friday after defeating their opponent (who has asked to remain anonymous) by a final of 65-57.
Before lacing up their sneakers, the Broncos took in the sights of beautiful downtown Barcelona, visiting the world famous la Sagrada Famila, the largest unfinished Roman Catholic Church in the world.
Once the tour was over, Santa Clara turned their attention to the hardwood and played a very consistent 40 minutes of basketball. The Broncos scored the first six points of the night and never looked back, only losing the lead briefly in the second quarter.
