STANFORD, Calif. - Santa Clara men's water polo split their two games on day two of the MPSF Invite hosted by Stanford. The Broncos began the day with a tough 13-11 loss to No. 9 San Jose State before turning things around with a big 10-5 victory over No. 16 Fordham in the afternoon.
Game One - #9 San Jose State 13, Santa Clara 11
It was a tight back-and-forth affair throughout, but the Broncos ultimately was unable to hold off two fourth quarter Spartan goals as they dropped thier second game against SJSU in as many tries this season.
