SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara lost their road trip match to the No. 7-ranked Stanford University on Monday afternoon 7-0.
"Stanford's a very, very good team," said head coach Ben Cabell. "We would've liked to have won more, but I think we're happy to come away with things we did well and some things to work on."
The No. 10-ranked duo of Taylor Davidson and Caroline Doyle from the Cardinal defeated Nabila Farah and Daniella Silva.
Stanford partners Melissa Lord and Kimberly Yee secured the doubles point with a win over Madison Clarke and Chelby Cooke.
