SANTA CRUZ, Calif. — Santa Clara volleyball rolled the momentum from its first victory of the season in to a two-win Saturday at the Big West/WCC Challenge. The Broncos topped Cal State Bakersfield 3-2 and Sacramento State 4-1 to bookend a 5-0 loss against CSUN.
Elizabeth Held/Alex Anthony (No. 3) and Claire Doud/Brynn Paumen (No. 4) each won two matches for the Broncos (3-10).
"We played very intentional and intelligently in our two dual victories today," associate head coach Jeff Alzina said.
