SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Santa Clara beach volleyball won twice on Saturday to run its winning streak to four consecutive duals. The Broncos topped San José State 4-1 in the morning and swept Sacramento State 5-0 in the afternoon at Hornet Beach.
The Broncos (5-2) are on their longest winning streak since taking six in a row in 2016. They have already exceeded the three-win total from the pandemic-shortened 2020 season.
Santa Clara secured eight of its nine match wins in straight sets on Saturday, including all five matches against the Hornets (0-3).
