Baseball Posts Gritty Extra Innings Win at Pacific

STOCKTON, Calif. – In a back-and-forth affair, Santa Clara baseball won its rubber match at Pacific 9-6 in 10 innings on Sunday afternoon.

Twice in the first seven innings the Broncos (17-10, 6-3 WCC) took a lead only to see the Tigers (9-17, 1-8 WCC) come back and get on top in their half of the inning. After Santa Clara tied the game in the eighth and it went to extras, the offense put up a four-spot to hold off a Pacific comeback.

In the 10th, Connor Henriques came up with the go ahead hit after Alex Lambeau and JonJon Berring had worked one out walks.
