SANTA CLARA, Calif. — Santa Clara baseball finishes up its 2016 home schedule this weekend in a West Coast Conference matchup against the Portland Pilots at Schott Stadium. The Broncos will host a Salute to Service game on Saturday and a day later in the home finale, honor the team's five seniors — Ryan Budnick, Kyle Cortopassi, TC Florentine, Peter Hendron and Nick Medeiros.
The Broncos closed out their weekend series at Pacific with a 3-2 win on Sunday after dropping the first two games against the Tigers, then fell to Stanford 10-3 at Sunken Diamond on Tuesday.
