Tyler Irvin and Kenny Potter power San Jose State to a 27-16 Cure Bowl victory

ORLANDO, Fla. -- After San Jose State and Georgia State slogged their way to a scoreless first quarter in the inaugural AutoNation Cure Bowl, things slightly changed in the second quarter with both teams combining for 17 points. In the end, the Spartans outlasted the Panthers for a 27-16 victory for their fourth straight bowl win thanks in large part to Tyler Ervin's excellence and Kenny Potter's heroics.

Ervin became the school's all-time rushing leader in a season when he finished with 132 yards on the ground to give him 1,601 yards this year, surpassing Deonce Whitaker's 1,577 yards in the 2000 campaign.
