Top Impact Newcomers: No. 5 Malik Roberson

InsideTheSpartans predicts which class of 2015 newcomers will have an immediate impact this year for the San Jose State Spartans.

Former Serra HS running back Malik Roberson has been very active this fall camp. He reportedly ran for 44 yards on 5 carries in the Spartans’ first scrimmage and had 27 yards and a touchdown on six carries in San Jose State’s open scrimmage last Saturday.

The Spartans have plenty of running back options returning this year including Tyler Ervin, Thomas Tucker, Brandon Monroe and Jarrod Lawson, but the Spartans aren’t hesitant to spread the wealth.
