San Jose State defensive coordinator Greg Robinson will retire following the Spartans' Cure Bowl game, according to a release issued by the school Friday night.
SJSU faces Georgia State on Saturday in Orlando, Florida.Robinson, 64, has spent nearly 40 years as a college or NFL coach. He spent the past two seasons as SJSU's defensive coordinator.The release said Robinson's future plans include spending more time with his family that includes three grandchildren."It dawned me (summer of 2015) when I was home and had my grandkids out from New York, I was having a great time. As I was driving back to training camp, it was a killer for me leaving them," Robinson said in the release.
