San Jose State has a chance to accomplish something Saturday night that it has not done in 27 years.
With a victory at Air Force in the Mountain West Conference opener, the Spartans would start a season 2-0. Even coach Mike MacIntyre's 11-2 team in 2012 couldn't go 2-0 after losing to Stanford in the opener. The last time San Jose State did, in 1987, the team finished 10-3. A victory at Falcon Stadium becomes all the more relevant considering the next three San Jose State games are at Oregon State, against rival Fresno State and at Auburn.
