SAN JOSE -- Coach Ron Caragher is ready to find a quarterback to lead San Jose State.
But who emerges as the starter between senior Joe Gray and junior transfer Kenny Potter is anyone's guess."Hopefully, sooner than later," Caragher said Monday, stating publicly for the first time his preference not to rotate signal-callers this season."We'd like to get to a one-quarterback system," he said. But neither quarterback has the edge, whether in the two games the Spartans (1-1, 0-1 Mountain West) have played or during practices.Caragher expects to continue the evaluation into the non-conference game Saturday at Oregon State (1-1).
