SAN JOSE -- Three San Jose State players share a special connection with Brigham Young, their opponent Friday night at Spartan Stadium.
Lani Fa, Cedric Lousi and Deano Motes are Mormons who have served two-year missions like 81 members of the Cougars. "There is a lot of emotion going into it," said Lousi, a senior defensive end from Washington High-Fremont. "I get a great joy because I want to beat them. I've got a lot of family and friends who are all BYU fans."Lousi knows BYU's 6-foot-8 defensive end Bronson Kaufusi, whose father Steve Kaufusi served on a mission in Tonga with Lousi's mom.
