SAN JOSE -- San Jose State begins a crucial run of three straight home games Saturday against San Diego State, feeling good about itself after snapping a seven-game road losing streak.
"When you fight through a tough game like that, it builds character, it shows resiliency," said coach Ron Caragher of the Spartans' 33-27 overtime win at UNLV that allowed them to square their record at 3-3 and improve to 2-1 in the Mountain West Conference. "Those are great things that add value over the course of the season."The boost comes just in time to face the Aztecs (3-3, 2-0), defending co-champions and current leaders of the West Division.
