Quarterback Malik Watson announced Saturday that he will transfer from San Jose State.
Watson, a junior in 2015 who saw action in two games, said in a note posted to Twitter that he will graduate in May and use his final season of eligibility elsewhere.Watson thanked San Jose State coach Ron Caragher "for giving me the opportunity to play on this team and to receive such a quality education from this university."The Pittsburgh High product played two seasons at Contra Costa College before signing as a junior college transfer with San Jose State in February 2014. At the time of his commitment he called SJSU his "dream school" and his announcement Saturday expressed nothing but positive words about his experience.
