SAN JOSE — The Sharks’ practice Wednesday had a different look, a different feel.
The tempo was a little quicker, more passes went tape-to-tape. The forward lines and defense pairs bore a closer resemblance to what they’ll look like when the regular season gets underway. No. 1 goalie Martin Jones was at one end of the ice, and backup Aaron Dell was stationed at the other.
“It’s a lot nicer when you get down to a group with mostly NHL players,” Sharks captain Logan Couture said Tuesday. “Not to take anything away from our younger players or anything like that.
