SAN JOSE — It might take some time for Sharks forward Jannik Hansen to feel completely comfortable in his new surroundings. The new employee in any workplace usually begins by going about their business in an understated manner.
“At first, he’ll be a little bit quiet, reading the locker room,” Vancouver Canucks alternate captain Daniel Sedin said. “But once he gets going, he’s a really funny guy. Likes to chirp. I think you need those guys on your team.”
The Sharks have no doubt Hansen will fit in well off the ice. They also know how valuable he could be on the ice for the stretch run and a possible prolonged playoff journey.
