SAN JOSE — Sharks general manager Doug Wilson said he watched all three days of last week’s NFL Draft, partly because there was no other sporting events on television.
But Wilson also wanted to get a look at how a virtual draft might operate, since the NHL might be in the same position next month. The league is expected to decide in the next week or two whether to hold its entry draft in June or in the fall following the possible conclusion of the Stanley Cup playoffs.
