Martin Jones discovered a new way to prevent a goal.
The Sharks netminder managed to make a save with the back of his jersey in the first period Sunday.
When Ryan Suter sent a shot Jones’ way, the Wild defenseman thought he had scored. Jones went searching for the puck — which a referee found had been placed under Jones’ uniform behind his neck.
It had zipped from Suter’s stick to a strange place, indeed.
