SAN JOSE — The wait to see Erik Karlsson play a game in a Sharks uniform is over.
Karlsson and several other of the Sharks’ regular players are expected to dress Thursday when San Jose hosts Calgary at SAP Center in its penultimate preseason game.
Karlsson, acquired Sept. 13 from Ottawa, has been practicing with the Sharks since last Wednesday and has mainly been paired with Marc-Edouard Vlasic in that time. He’s also been part of the first power play unit, which the Sharks have been practicing since Sunday.
After Thursday, the Sharks’ final preseason game is Sunday in Las Vegas against the Golden Knights.
