SAN JOSE – Physically, Raffi Torres says he’s good to go for the Sharks first regular season game next Wednesday in Los Angeles.
That doesn’t necessarily mean he’ll be in, as coach Pete DeBoer has yet to announce his final roster, let alone who will be playing against the Kings. But, it does mean that Torres is progressing from his right knee problems that have kept him out for the majority of the past two years.
On Tuesday, Torres played his second preseason game vs. Vancouver. In primarily a fourth line role, he finished with two shots on goal and five hits in 8:07 of ice time.
