Noah Gregor was one of the WHL’s better players as 17-year-old last season.
Stop me if you’ve heard this before: the Sharks drafted a slightly undersized center with a strong two-way game later than he likely should have been picked. Noah Gregor is the latest Sharks prospect to fit that profile, and given his success and age, could prove to be yet another mid-to-late round steal for San Jose.
Gregor was a point-per-game player last season for Moose Jaw in the WHL, which is especially impressive considering he did so as a 17-year-old. He was among the best players in the league in his age group, ranking third in total points and fifth in points per game of players under 18.
