ST. LOUIS -- Sharks center Chris Tierney is just in his second year in the NHL, but he's grown accustomed to playing against some of West's best forwards through the first month of the playoffs.
Tierney and linemates Joel Ward and Melker Karlsson didn't see as much of the St. Louis Blues' line of Jori Lehtera, Vladimir Tarasenko and Jaden Schwartz in Game 2 on Tuesday as they did in the opener of the Western Conference finals two days earlier. But Tierney, in his first playoff run, is confident he and his linemates can hold their own defensively and create scoring chances, regardless of who they are matched up against.
