SAN JOSE — The Vegas Golden Knights have already punched their ticket to the second round. But the Sharks — at least on the surface — are not thinking about a trip to The Strip just yet.
“You don’t want to look ahead. We still have an important game.” Sharks forward Mikkel Boedker said. “Obviously you follow the other series, and good on Vegas for sweeping. It was a tough series and they came out ahead. But we’ve still got to stay focused on Anaheim.”
Sharks coach Pete DeBoer said he watched the last few minutes of the Golden Knights’ Game 4 win over the Kings on Tuesday.
