LAS VEGAS — Joe Thornton isn’t one to miss a good party.
Thornton joined the Sharks (44-24-10) for the final game of their four-game road trip Saturday, skating at the team’s morning practice in Las Vegas. The Sharks can clinch their 13th trip to the Stanley Cup playoffs in 14 years with a win over the Vegas Golden Knights (49-22-7) Saturday night.
The 38-year old won’t be suiting up for the Sharks final road game of the 2017-18 season, but he did spend a considerable amount of time on the ice after practice working with assistant coach Steve Spott.
