CALGARY, Alberta — Erik Karlsson will miss his sixth straight game with a lower-body injury when the Sharks take on the Calgary Flames on Thursday. When he returns, there’s a good chance he’s going to reconnect with the defensive partner that he played alongside to kick off his Sharks career in October.
Pete DeBoer reiterated Thursday morning that he expects Karlsson to rejoin the Sharks lineup before the team completes its four-game trek through Western Canada in Vancouver on Monday. In other words, the Erik Karlsson-Marc-Edouard Vlasic reunion tour could be coming to a stage near you sooner than later.
