A playoff run that came just short of expectations has quickly moved to the rearview mirror for a San Jose Sharks team with a busy offseason ahead of them.
The 2018-19 season represented their best shot in years at the franchise’s first Stanley Cup, boasting a roster made up of two former Norris Trophy-winning defensemen, stable veteran talent, and emerging youngsters, but ultimately they weren’t able to capture the NHL’s top prize thanks to a myriad of roadblocks in the postseason.
