LAS VEGAS — The Sharks are going to be a tough out.
They proved it in the third period Friday, scoring three times to pull within a goal of the Vegas Golden Knights after falling behind 4-0 with 11:24 remaining in regulation.
The Knights eventually put the Sharks to bed by scoring an empty-netter with 81 seconds left on the clock. But the late-game charge gave them a taste of what they’ll be up against in trying to win their fourth game of the series in San Jose Sunday night.
